Designing furniture, lighting, ceramics and jewellery (such as rings) is highly rewarding for me as a designer. I also gain a great deal of satisfaction and a feeling of accomplishment when turning these designs into objects which then, in turn, encourages and motivates me as a designer.

 

As an example, specifically working with timber - as timber can be easier to work with - you can manipulate the shape and size of the material that you want and use a variety of different joins and joining materials to create a unique and innovative style and design.
